Saturday Morning

After more than forty years at our previous location, our group relocated in September 2018 to John Black Memorial United Church, located at 898 Henderson Highway, at the corner of Roberta Avenue in East Kildonan.

Please note that due to the change in venue, we are no longer able to provide coffee or tea. Feel free to bring your own beverage to enjoy during the meeting.

🕥 Meeting Details
Our meetings begin at 10:30 AM and typically conclude by 11:40 AM. We gather in the small chapel on the main floor, immediately to the right as you enter through the Roberta Avenue entrance.

♿ Accessibility
The building is wheelchair accessible via an exterior ramp. However, please be aware that the washrooms are located six steps up or can be accessed by elevator.

👥 Group Format & Attendance
We usually have 10–15 members in attendance, including two to three sponsors and several long-time participants. Our meeting format follows a five-week rotation using the OA 12&12, AA 12&12, and the AA Big Book:

• Week 1: Step meeting (OA 12&12)
• Week 2: Step meeting (AA 12&12)
• Week 3: AA Big Book topic, chosen by the day’s leader
• Week 4: Tradition meeting (OA 12&12)
• Week 5: Leader’s choice topic

🚌 Transportation & Parking
We are conveniently located on a main bus line, and street parking is available on Saturdays along both Henderson Highway and Roberta Avenue.
